Findings from Centris Marketing Science Q1 2013 Evolution of Video (EOV) Report:

– The proportion of US households using YouTube increased from 27% in Q4’12 to 38% in Q1’13

– Most Netflix subscribers also have pay-TV (Q1’13 84%) and 55% have at least one premium channel

– Q1’13 Netflix subscribers eliminated premium channels due to cost: channels too expensive (39%) special deal ended (28%)
